What Is THC-H and How Is It Made?

What Is THC-H and How Is It Made?

THC-H, or Tetrahydrocannabihexol, is a new, cutting-edge cannabinoid. It was recently discovered and is a complete newcomer to the hemp market. Like many other cannabinoids that have just come to light, such as Delta 10 and THC-P products, its presence in hemp is only trace amounts.

Strong euphoria and effects are associated with THC-H, with early research claiming it to be 25 times more potent than ordinary THC. It works with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS) to bind to specific cannabinoid receptors, much like all other cannabinoids do, producing a unique array of effects.

As it becomes easier to isolate and study thanks to increasingly sophisticated extraction techniques, researchers will undoubtedly learn more about it in the near future.

THC-H Effects

We don't know a lot about this cannabinoid yet because it is relatively new to the market, so there aren’t many research studies out there. However, studies are currently being conducted and preliminary findings suggest that it may help make you happier and improve your mood. Based on what we’ve seen, we know its effects is something newcomers might want to tread lightly and veterans will fall in love with.

Why a THC-H High Is Unique

The group that discovered THC-H believes that it is the second strongest cannabinoid currently out there, after THC-P, based on all the data obtained up to this point. Therefore, THC-H, will provide a stronger sense of euphoria and relaxation in both the body and the mind. Another unexpected feature of THC-H is that its effects are said to last for significantly longer than those of other psychoactive cannabinoids, with some users even claiming that the high lasts twice as long.

THC-H Benefits

While there is much more about tetrahydrocannabinol to discover, it is already quite well-liked due to its psychedelic effects. What we do know about THC-H is that it is strong and its high is potentially very-long lasting. Many other cannabinoid-based products provide only a short phase of euphoria that doesn’t last for the duration of the high. The high is frequently compared to that of THC-P, and the two cannabinoids seem to be commonly used together, possibly due to the entourage effect they provide, helping with mood, relaxation, and so on. But there is still a lot to learn.

Initial, potentially-biased anecdotal evidence suggests that THC-H may be promising for mood enhancement and pain alleviation. If you are interested in the therapeutic benefits of THC-H, you should begin with small dosage amounts and track you results along the way to gauge it’s efficacy.

THC-H Side Effects

As with any psychoactive compound, excessive THC-H consumption can result in severe side effects such as dry mouth, strong mental and physical experience, and Headache. Again, because the substance is potent, we recommend starting with lower doses and gradually increasing them as you become tolerant to its effects.

Is THC-H Legal?

Tetrahydrocannabihexol is a completely legal cannabinoid under federal law, and companies are permitted to manufacture, distribute, and sell it to customers in the United States as long as it is made from 100% Hemp extract. And the reason for this is that it is protected by the 2018 Farm Bill, which also made cannabinoids like CBD and delta-8 legal. The Farm Bill permits the use of all hemp derivatives as long as their delta-9 THC level does not exceed 0.3% of the dry weight of the product. so, in terms of federal law, it is entirely legal. Let's not forget that only Delta 9-THC is prohibited by federal law; THC itself is not.

What is the difference between CBD and THC-H?

The distinction between CBD (cannabidiol) and THC-H (Tetrahydrocannabihexol) is that CBD lacks the psychoactive properties of THC-H. Despite the fact that CBD can be used for a variety of medical conditions, it does not have the same psychoactive power as THC-H and Delta 9. In other words, CBD is better for those looking to gain the benefits of the cannabis plant without the psychoactive properties.

Will THC-H Fail a Drug Test?

Any cannabinoid that includes "THC" in its name is highly likely to result in a failed drug test. Why? Standard drug tests look for the presence of THC-COOH, an enzyme that breaks down THC and other cannabinoids in the urine. THC-H is more potent than delta 9 THC, thus it's reasonable to assume that those who use it will have a higher chance of failing a drug test.

What are the Non-Psychoactive Properties of THC-H?

While anecdotal evidence suggests that cannabinoids may have intoxicating effects, it is more challenging to identify the cannabinoid's non-psychoactive effects since they are often more subtle and cumulative.

But, based on what we know about other tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compounds, we can make some safe assumptions. THC compounds are generally known to have effects that are mostly related to appetite, nausea, physical discomfort, and mood.

We may need to wait for further information to completely comprehend the potential of THC-H, but for the time being, we can experiment and discover for ourselves. And what better way to do so than with high-quality products that provide us with peace of mind?

Types of Products THC-H Comes In:

THC-H distillate, which is a purified extract, can be incorporated into any type of product that you’ve seen with other cannabinoids. THC-H is extremely new to the market, so you’re only going to find a limited selection of product types and not a lot of brands carrying it. Here are the types of THC-H products that you’re most likely to encounter right now.

THC-H vape cartridges provide powerful, fast-acting effects in a wide range of strains. They are made up of an additive-free composition that combines an isolated extract of THC-H with terpenes in various strain combinations. These carts will work with any typical low-wattage vape pen device that we use for other types of cartridges.

THC-H disposable vapes will function similarly to other cannabinoid disposables, with the exception that their vape oil recipe will have THC-H extract rather than another cannabinoid, as well as terpene profiles that are strain-specific. To those who are unfamiliar, disposables are a maintenance-free replacement for the standard vaping device.

He originally worked at a marketing tech company in Boston doing email marketing and SEO display ad campaigns (where he helped to create the content for those emails and banner ads for clients) before going full time as a freelance writer in 2017.

It all started working with clients in the vaping industry in 2013, where David got his opportunities to do more freelance work for that industry the following year because of his success with helping those clients with emails and ads. And, which led him writing for the hemp industry too, as he had already been an avid cannabis enthusiast going all the way back to 2011.

Because of his extensive knowledge and legit passion with non-psychoactive and psychoactive cannabinoids, coupled with his better understanding of shrooms (mushrooms) since 2015, and the kratom/kava industry since 2019, it has allowed him to create some of the most remarkable, out-of-the box, and informative content in the industry.

Even today, David still keeps on top of what’s happening in the cannabis, shrooms, and kratom/kava industries, like new research and data studies, wellness trends, legality, and emerging cannabinoids and strains, in order to supply the most up-to-date, precise educational, fun, and engaging content.
